This Privacy Policy describes how LovableLaunch ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data: email address, username, display name, avatar.
  • Submitted content: apps, descriptions, images, tags, comments, votes.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe; we receive only transaction metadata, never full card details.
  • Usage data: aggregated, privacy-friendly analytics via Plausible (no cookies, no personal identifiers).
  • Communications: email preferences and unsubscribe status.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • To moderate submissions and prevent abuse;
  • To send transactional emails (welcome, submission status, comments, followers);
  • To send the weekly digest, only if you opt in;
  • To process featured placement payments via Stripe;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Bases (GDPR)

We rely on (a) performance of a contract (operating your account), (b) legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), (c) consent (weekly digest, optional features), and (d) legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Service:

  • Supabase — database & authentication;
  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Resend (or our email provider) — transactional & digest emails;
  • Cloudflare — hosting & content delivery;
  • Plausible — privacy-friendly analytics.

We do not sell your personal data. Public content you submit (apps, comments, upvotes, profile) is visible to anyone using the Service.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from settings; we will remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data;
  • Object to or restrict processing;
  • Data portability;
  • Withdraw consent (e.g., unsubscribe from the digest);
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), row-level security in our database, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) when transferring data from the EEA/UK.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
